And that cartoon above is a real person, our very own Patricia (Trish) Norris Zablah — for Vitu CMS.

Patricia Norris Zablah — who everyone calls “Trish” — is Vitu’s Assistant Vice President, Business Operations who manages Collateral Management Solutions (CMS) with responsibility for all locations and relationships with our lender partners and title processing.
Prior to Vitu CMS, Trish worked in the banking industry. In 2011, she joined CMS as a supervisor in the operations team and learned the collateral business from the ground up. She has developed deep expertise on how to support end to end title management for our clients and has placed tremendous focus on delivering high quality and compliant service. At her interview, she toured the paper title vault in the Sacramento facility. “My jaw hit the floor when I learned what collateral management really was,” she said. “I had no idea that titles went to the banks — I thought the DMV housed paper titles until loans were paid off!”
In her captive lender leadership role, Trish became very familiar with title processing over the lifetime of a vehicle loan. She relocated to a new facility in Ohio to help start up the site and lead the team, making this California girl preemptively take a few classes on how to drive in snow and ice. After helping to hire, train and develop the Ohio team, she relocated back to Sacramento to take over leadership of the business completely.
Trish likes to travel and has had some amazing trips with her husband. In 2020, she found herself stranded in Europe, with hours on the phone to airlines, rushing to another country’s airport and finally making the last flight landing in Ohio as the airport closed due to COVID. She volunteered time (by herself) in a Lebanese refugee camp, meeting amazing people and learning a new culture. She also enjoyed touring amazing historical sites in her husband’s homeland of Israel.
When at home, Trish enjoys time with family and friends, and loves to joke and laugh. Her priority is treating others as she would want to be treated. “No judgement, because everyone is unique and different,” she said. “I try to listen and show compassion to others in their situation.” Witnessing her father’s dedication to his family, job, and community “inspires me daily to do my best,” she said, “always striving for more and challenging myself to be a better version of myself tomorrow than I was today.”

The state of Arizona has instituted a notary competency examination for all new and renewing notaries applying for a Notary commission after July 1, 2025.
The examination is proctored by Prometric, a state-approved professional test administration vendor which provides similar test proctoring services for other state entities. A $46.75 cost will be assessed directly by Prometric for every proctored examination. A passing grade of 80% is needed to renew or start the notary commission.
- Those taking the online examination will need to be able to download the software from the state’s exam proctor (Prometric) and provide camera access throughout the entire examination
- In-person examinations may be scheduled at any of Prometric’s live testing locations in Arizona
Exam prep training
The National Notary Association (NNA) has developed an exam prep training course to assist in passing the state examination. To sign up for this course, contact the NNA. The cost is $45/person.
