We all know the drill: you accept a trade-in vehicle and want to turn it around to sell, but now you’re waiting on lien payoffs, title release and all the extra requirements that accompany the entire trade-in process. This could take weeks or, at times, even months.
With immediate payoff quotes and nationwide lien payoffs, Accelerated Title™ turns back an expensive, long trade-in process to just 4-6 days, saving time, money and headaches for your staff.
To learn more about how Accelerated Title™ redefines how dealerships manage trade-in and title release and what it can bring to your dealership, reach out to your Account Executive, visit our website or schedule a demo using the link below.

With the number of Idaho EVR transactions increasing, it’s important to follow the audit submission guidelines to ensure a timely approval. Failing to do this may result in your audit being rejected.
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) requests that documents be scanned at the lowest possible resolution without losing readability — typically, this is the 150 to 200DPI setting on your scanner.
Correct document scanning order
- Wet-signed 502 (digitally signed 502s are automatically uploaded and do not need to be scanned)
- Title or MSO
- Separate assignments
- POA
- Separate Odometer Disclosure
- Any other supporting documentation that might be required
Please do not include purchase orders, contracts or anything else that is not relevant to the transfer of ownership.
Top reasons audits are rejected
- Missing signatures on 502
- Wrong documents uploaded
- Missing documents
- Handwritten changes on 502 that were not updated in the system
You can delete scanned documentation that doesn’t need to be sent to ITD by clicking on the trash can icon next to your scanned documents.

You’ve probably noticed that Organizations cannot be edited or added to ITD’s system the same way individuals can. This is because organization names can have a lot of variations in how they are entered. For example, ABC Co. versus ABC Company. ITD must have tight control over those records to ensure the integrity of the data in their database.
In most cases, you can contact your Vitu Account Executive to have changes made for business customers, so be sure to include:
- Company’s full legal name as it would show in the Secretary of State filing
- EIN
- Address (physical and mailing if different)
- Up to two Contacts and their phone numbers
Your customer can also go to ITD’s website and click on Update Your Business under the quick links to make the changes.

There is one exception to updating organizations — Electronic Lien and Title (ELT) lienholders. ITD is under contract with ELT providers to display those lienholders in the way they specify. They will only make changes to a lienholder via the ELT providers, and at the request of the lienholders.
