The initial phase of integration with the KAVIS (Kentucky Automated Vehicle Information System) system has been implemented for Dealer Assignment and Transfer transactions.

What does this mean?

• Finalized transactions are now uploaded directly into the KAVIS system.
• County Clerks are no longer using a dual process requiring copy and paste from one system to another.
• Improved turn around times for auditing and completion of transactions.

Error Messages

With integration, a finalized transaction is electronically received in KAVIS. The transaction may receive an error if the data entered is not validated or entered incorrectly. A finalize error means that one or more errors were found in the transaction. A review of all fields for accuracy and correction is required.
