We’re excited to let you know that Accelerated Title is now built into Vitu and sits right beside NTX under the Title Management tab. What this means is that with one single login, you have access to not only Accelerated Title, but also NTX, Vitu Interstate and, if applicable, in-state EVR.

If you’re currently using Accelerated Title outside of Vitu, please continue as normal. But if you would like to take advantage of using Accelerated Title within the Vitu application, please schedule a demo.

If your transaction fails to submit successfully to Montana MVD because of being flagged for an NMVTIS error, you have two courses of action:

Option 1 — Wait for the MVD to resolve with the prior titling jurisdiction

• This can take a long time because two DMVs (the prior titling jurisdiction and Montana) are communicating to resolve the NMVTIS error blocking Montana from approving the title to print. MVD does not currently provide an explanation to Vitu for what the NMVTIS issue can be; however, in general, it can include various scenarios such as a mismatched title issue date, the previous state didn’t pass a VIN number to NMVTIS, or the previous state did not send a successful response when Montana checks NMVTIS for a valid record.
• NTX will automatically cancel the State Review transaction after 90 days without receiving a successful title approval message from Montana MVD or if Montana determines that the title cannot be approved after discussing with the previous titling state (such as when the title in the previous state had been canceled).

Option 2 — Request the title request be canceled by emailing ntxsupport@vitu.com

• The NTX team will create an MVD support ticket requesting that the pending title be backed down. This can typically take 2-3 business days for MVD to work the ticket. Once it’s completed, you can process the title in another state ( they will likely do the same thing but you won’t have the same level of visibility) or process with the previous titling jurisdiction. 
• You can also try to process via Montana again after waiting three (3) business days from cancellation to allow NMVTIS to appropriately reflect the backed down pending title.
