When viewing the Title Tracker within a completed transaction, once a printed title has been assigned to a shipment, you will now see the Title Shipped icon highlighted with a tracking number. Clicking on the hyperlink directs you to the shipping provider where you can view the details of that shipment.

With the new Title Tracker feature, the email you receive from the NTX title processing department is now automated. You will still receive the same information — however, it will now come directly from NTXprocessing@vitu.com and the layout will look a little different.   

Odometer corrections

When an odometer needs to be corrected, whether it is mileage, date, etc., it can be corrected via Statement of Fact, Statement of Correction etc., as long as it is not the last transfer before obtaining the Montana title. If it is the last transfer, a new Odometer along with a Statement of Fact is required.

Selling Dealership name mismatch

If your account is set up under a central location and you have multiple locations submitting under this account, the buyer in the last reassignment must match the dealership name you are submitting the transaction under. You can either provide a One and the Same, or if they are not truly one and the same you will need to provide a Bill of Sale and Odometer between the two locations (buyer being the location the transaction is being submitted under).

Estates

When a transaction contains estate paperwork (the titled owner passed away) and a will has been presented granting another person as personal representative of the estate or executor, that person must be the one to sign the title work as a POA can not be granted.
