New option to print or not print Odo
Clicking Review runs the NMVTIS report
A simple checkbox makes the choice easy.
No need to send it in with the completed application.

Each Secure Power of Attorney (SPOA) must have original seller and buyer signatures. Copies and electronic signatures are not accepted on the Illinois Secure Power of Attorney.
The only time a carbon copy can be used in lieu of the original is when applying for a Duplicate or Duplicate/Corrected title.

Just so you know, the Illinois Secretary of State (SOS) reports that processing time is currently 4-6 weeks. The count starts when the state confirms validation, and it takes 4-6 weeks for the title to be issued in the new owner's name.

California and New York
CA & NY title numbers are the Date Issued in this format:
- 4-digit year 2-digit month 2-digit date
- YYYYMMDD
- Example: 20240815
New Jersey
The NJ title number is 13 characters located in the bottom right corner. Please exclude the two letters that are printed separately to the left of it.

Now you have a choice whether to print the Odometer Statement or not. In the FORMS section, you’ll find the Odometer Disclosure checkbox. To print, simply mark the checkbox. If you do not need the odometer, just leave the checkbox unchecked.

Previously, you would run the NMVTIS report when entering the title information, or you would click Review to go back up to the Vehicle section to run NMVTIS.
Now, the NMVTIS report automatically runs when you select Review. If any information mismatches, you’ll be brought back to the Vehicle section to verify and correct.
You’ll find the NMVTIS report under the Documents tab for reference. The NMVTIS no longer needs to be sent in with the completed application.

Last Month’s Stress Buster Winner
Congratulations to the winner of last month’s Stress Buster Contest!

Welcome back! This is the last of a five-part series all about YOU.
Have you ever thought of taking a 24-hour mini-vacation?
Taking a day off, 24 little hours, is a real refresher! Go to a hotel an hour or two away and just relax! Order room service, if they offer it. Or go out to eat somewhere that you always wanted to try but never have. Somewhere close to home and work, but far enough away that you feel some peace. If you have little ones, this is the time where they can build a blanket fort! It really isn't that hard to do. And, you only use up one vacation day! Read a book! Relax and unwind. Sleep. Explore.
Spring is a time of growth and renewal. Growth is good. Growth can also be hard. We often say we are buried. Seeds are buried. They fight to the surface and grow, just like you do. You have all grown so much! Plant some seeds of kindness.
Speaking of kindness, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your feedback about these articles. It has been a pleasure and an honor to celebrate YOU! And here is a special shout out to someone we will call "Hitch." She and her family have added a new addition to their family recently — a little fur baby named Oreo McFurry.
Now get out there! This is the year of YOU! Enjoy it, warriors!!! 😊 And, you never know — maybe they'll let me sneak back in here once in a while and we can continue our Year of YOU!
