When adding a customer or changing an address, always begin by entering the ZIP code. Then, select the corresponding city from the drop-down menu. It’s crucial to ensure that the city and ZIP code match — only then is the street address field available. 

Once a deal has been submitted or marked as “pending,” it is officially recorded by the state and cannot be modified beyond a few selections. The only fields that can be updated include:

• Date of sale
• Vehicle year
• Make
• Model
• Body type
• Color 

All other changes, including the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and customer details, cannot be adjusted on an issued Temp Tag. Therefore, it is strongly advised to verify that the information entered is accurate and up-to-date. Treat the Temp Tag submission as a final, standalone transaction.
