2026 is just around the corner, so it’s time to get prepared. Deals submitted to the DMV for used vehicles on or after January 2, 2026, that have a model year 2022 or older, must have an Emissions Inspection, even if the vehicle was purchased and the deal submitted to DMV in December 2025.
If the state processes a deal for a used vehicle model year 2022 or older after January 2, 2026 without an Emissions Inspection included, it will be rejected.
Be proactive and be sure to obtain an Emissions Inspection for all 2022 and older vehicles upfront.

Does your dealership have new or additional users that need access to process Connecticut title and reg online before the end of 2025?
A Connecticut Automotive Retailers Association (CARA) certificate is required for each new user of the Connecticut Online Registration and Title Program.
CARA will be holding their last DMV Policy & Procedure Zoom class of 2025 on Thursday, December 11th at 10:30AM.
To register, please email CARA@ctcar.org with the following information:
- Attendee name
- Attendee email address
- Business legal name
- Connecticut Dealer License number.
All Connecticut title & reg users must complete both CARA training on policies and procedures and Vitu's CIVLS training on the software, and retain the Certificates of Completion issued for each.

Welcome back Warriors! This is the continuation of our series all about YOU.
The month of appreciation
November is a time of gatherings, reflection, and transition from Autumn to Winter.
It is a month where warm, golden hues, along with browns and oranges take center stage in our workspaces as well as our homes — filled with smells of cinnamon, apples, pumpkin pie, and some serious comfort food!
Celebrations of food, family, and friendship start to fill up our thoughts and our calendars. Just saying the word, "November," stirs up memories of Novembers past. It is a time of reflection. A time of gratitude. A time of thanksgiving. It reminds us of who was with us in the past during this special month, as well as those who are no longer with us. It reminds us all that we are all truly blessed beyond measure, to keep a grateful heart and a thankful heart.
November is the month with a definite attitude of gratitude. As we start thinking about our plans for this month, the food, the family, the friends, we also think about people who are alone, people who don't have what we may have. And we give. We help out at local food banks, we serve others, we share with our neighbors. We also smile a little bit more, and we are a little nicer to each other. It is a magical time of year.
It is also a time of work. We Warriors work a little harder, trying to make sure that our desks are all caught up so that we can enjoy Thanksgiving with our families and friends. We also start to get a little stressed out, so remember to take some time to center yourself each day. Give yourself the gift of some "alone time" so that you can relax, pray, meditate, or just listen to nature during a nice walk in the mild fall morning or evening.
This month’s treat for YOU
November is a time to nourish both your body and your mind. We've talked about nourishing your mind, now let's talk about nourishing your body!
I have a recipe for a super easy, delicious, guilt-free, sugar-free pumpkin pie that I would like to share with all of YOU!
This recipe is by Chris Cooking Nashville, an incredible chef that cares about good healthy options for some of our favorite comfort foods. He is AMAZING! I asked Chris for permission to share this video and recipe with all of YOU, and he graciously agreed. Check it out using the link here! I personally will be making this pie this year, and I hope that YOU will LOVE it as much as I do!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Warriors! I'll be back next month as we continue to celebrate this Year of YOU! ♥️🥧
