Indiana’s scan program allows your dealership (if approved by the state) to upload title documents directly into Vitu in lieu of sending us the original deals. 

However, if scanned documents are not uploaded in the correct order, the bundles do not come through to our scan queue. Instead, these out-of-order documents are placed on our 10-day pending report, causing delays. Why? It takes extra time for us to log into each dealership account to retrieve the documents — which are either not scanned in with the Bundle Cover Page on top or not uploaded at all.  

We’d like to help you out to prevent delays. Here are some helpful tips when uploading your bundles to avoid delaying deals. Please let us know if you have any questions. 

Helpful tips for uploading bundles

  • Once you close your bundle, print the Bundle Cover Page and gather all required Indiana BMV copies listed on the Bundle Cover Page for scan upload.
  • The Bundle Cover Page MUST be the first (top) page of each scanned bundle.

    Note: If the Bundle Cover Page is missing or not on top, the bundle will not come through the scan queue, causing delays in processing your deals.
  • After closing your bundle, documents should be uploaded in the following order:
  1. Indiana Bundle / Transaction Report (Bundle Cover Page) 
  1. Indiana BMV Copy for the transaction
  1. Barcoded title application
  2. Title documents

Be sure to repeat steps two (2) through four (4) for each transaction in the bundle.

  • If the scanned bundle PDF is larger than 50 MB and must be uploaded in multiple files, the Bundle Cover Page must be the first page of each PDF uploaded.

    Note: The file size can be no larger than 50MB.
  • Review your scans before uploading them to Vitu. If the documents are unclear or difficult to read on your computer, please rescan them.
