We recently notified you of a mandatory update to the Illinois Secretary of State (ILSOS) Electronic Lien & Title (ELT) program (this email from February 16, 2026).

Beginning July 1, 2026, all lienholders processing five or more liens annually in Illinois will be required to participate in the ELT program.

All inventory returns must be returned to the Vitu Office no later than the 25th of each month. Timely submissions ensure accurate monthly reconciliation and prevent unnecessary billing.

Be sure to properly update the status of all inventory being returned by your dealership by following these steps:

Mark any items as Damaged or Void as appropriate.
Navigate to the Return Inventory section and update the status of all items being shipped back to us as Returning.
- Include the corresponding tracking number provided by your shipping carrier.
- Any inventory that is not properly accounted for under the Returning status will possibly be considered billable.
Double-check that all inventory being returned is properly scanned and documented. This helps avoid discrepancies and ensures a smooth return process.
Always include an outstanding inventory report in your return shipment to confirm all items being sent back and support accurate reconciliation.
If any inventory is missing, notify the Warehouse team right away. Early communication allows for quicker resolution and proper documentation.
For missing inventory, a police report must be filed and submitted to the Vitu Office by the 25th of the month to be eligible for credit consideration.
