




Let’s talk about Power of Attorney (POA). The North Carolina DMV has advised of new guidance for Limited POA for corporations. See the updated guidance below.
- On a limited POA, the corporation or business can be the power of attorney. However, an individual or individuals MUST be named in the POA as the signer for the corporation or business.
- On a limited POA, the vehicle’s VIN must be listed on the POA.
- A general POA is the appropriate document if broader authority is needed.
