All physical documents submitted through Vitu must be retained for a minimum of seven (7) business days and a maximum of fourteen (14) business days from the date the transaction was approved. Documents used for a Submitted Transaction that was subsequently rejected by the State Department must be retained until an Approved Transaction is obtained, or alternate resolution is found that results in a title, registration, or lien transaction, as applicable.

What is a terminal authorization, you ask? Vitu takes extra precautions to ensure the safety of all our customers’ information by requiring a terminal to be authorized for use. To authorize your terminal, click Authorize Terminal, fill in the appropriate info and submit. Your dealership’s admin has the ability to approve it. If not, our Support Team can assist with that as well. 

Frequent changes to the operating system or clearing of cookies may require an additional authorization. If this becomes a frequent issue, please reach out to the Vitu Virginia Team.
