In the Vehicles tab, you may notice that some of your transaction statuses show as Finalized while others show as Completed. Though Finalized means the deal is final in the MVA system, please realize that it does not mean you are finished with the transaction. 

MVA requires all documents to be added within three business days of finalizing the transaction. 

If this is not done, the MVA can impose fines. You may also get a letter from the MVA letting you know that you have not uploaded the documents. 

In order to get the transaction from Finalized into Completed status, follow these steps:

1. To upload all required documents, select the blue Submit Documents button at the top right of the deal.

2. After scanning all of your documents as one PDF in the MVA-approved order, click the Add Documents button to navigate to and select your PDF. 
   
   • The Document Type is defaulted to Title and Registration Document for easy labeling. 
   • As the PDF uploads, a green bar appears at the bottom of the screen. 
   • If you realize you have uploaded the wrong PDF, you can click the trashcan icon on the right to delete it.

3. Once you have determined that you have the correct file uploaded, click the green Submit Documents button at the bottom of the screen. 

Note: The blue Submit Documents button at the top right of the deal will have just changed to Resubmit to MVA. This button is here for you to use in case you forgot to add a document to the PDF or if MVA sends you a letter stating that a document is missing. You will also see that the transaction status has changed from Finalized to Completed, which means you are now done with this transaction.
