Effective immediately, the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (NJ MVC) requires all newly hired title clerks to successfully complete the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Certification eCourse and submit a copy of the certificate before online processing privileges can be issued. This requirement applies specifically to new title clerks who have not yet been fingerprinted or assigned a state-issued control number.

1. On the back of titles and reassignments, include the date of sale, not the stamp date.
2. Ensure all paperwork is in hand before processing the transaction.
