Golf Oregon license plates will be available to the public beginning April 28, 2026. Golf Oregon plates will be issued to passenger vehicles only and will be available as Custom (Personalized) or Amateur Radio Operator (HAM) plates.
The surcharge for this plate is $40 for both New (4 year) and Used (2 year) registration. The surcharge will also be due at every renewal.
Transactions with $40 Surcharge
Dealers may collect the $40 surcharge instead of a prepaid voucher. These transactions can be processed through Vitu or sent directly to the DMV.
Transactions with a Prepaid Voucher
If a prepaid voucher is collected in place of the $40 surcharge, the transaction must be submitted to a DMV dealer center or mailed to DMV Headquarters.
Voucher transactions cannot be processed through Vitu.
