Vehicle weights play an important role in successfully and accurately registering a vehicle. Different vehicle types and body types can differ and in order to be listed correctly, it is important to know their weights. Below is a breakdown of vehicle types with their weights and what plates can be issued for them.

What is a terminal authorization, you ask? Vitu takes extra precautions to ensure the safety of all our customers’ information by requiring a terminal to be authorized for use. To authorize your terminal, click Authorize Terminal, fill in the appropriate info and submit. Your dealership’s admin has the ability to approve it. If not, our Support Team can assist with that as well. 

Frequent changes to the operating system or clearing of cookies may require an additional authorization. If this becomes a frequent issue, please reach out to the Vitu Virginia Team.
